A series of natural disasters has decimated the earth. Cut off from the rest of the world, England is a dark place. The sun rarely shines, food is scarce, and groups of criminals roam the woods, searching for prey. The people are growing restless.

When a ruthless revolutionary sets out to overthrow the crown, he makes the royal family his first target. Blood is shed in Buckingham Palace, and only sixteen-year-old Princess Eliza manages to escape.

Determined to kill the man who destroyed her family, Eliza joins the enemy forces in disguise. She has nothing left to live for but revenge, until she meets someone who helps her remember how to hope—and to love—once more. Now she must risk everything to ensure that she not become... The Last Princess.

Princess Eliza’s mother and father are dead, and her brother and sister stolen by the greedy for power, Cornelius Holister. And now he’s after her. Lost and alone on the streets of England, Eliza decides to enroll in the Tudor Army, Cornelius’s Army, to find her brother and sister. There she meets Wesley, the mysterious general that let her escape on the day they captured her siblings. Will she be able to help her brother and sister in time? And stop Cornelius?

I was reluctant to pick up The Last Princess. Big mistake. Galaxy Craze really knows how to thrill people. Like they say don’t judge a book by its cover (I didn’t judge it by its cover, I judged it by its title). I really liked Polly - a true friend from the beginning. I thought it was funny how Princess Kate is Eliza's great-grandmother. The book is fast-paced, that goes to say how her parents died in the first 50 pages and her brother and sister kidnapped not long after. I love books with a focus on betrayal, so The Last Princess was just perfect.

The sequel for this amazing book can’t come fast enough! The ending has left me clueless. I would recommend this book for everyone, guys and girls. I’d rate the cover five stars with the beautiful sunset and scenery in the background.

This review was written by my eleven year old sister, Asma!

  5. ohhhhh, that is an unusual author name. I like the book title, but if I didn't see the cover image as it is, I'd probably imagine something completely different.
