What’s Next? (1)

Hi everyone! This here’s the first ever What’s Next post. Click here to read more about the meme and be sure to link up your posts below. I just finished Leigh Bardugo’s SHADOW AND BONE, which was incredible (more in my review to come), and I’m having a tough time picking up another book to rival it.

Nonetheless, here are a few I have to read soon! So. Which first?

ARCs releasing soon (links lead to Goodreads):
Monument 14    For Darkness Shows the Stars
Books I’ve been wanting to read before the sequels release:
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1)   Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1)

Link up your What’s Next posts below. Use a direct link please. Be sure to return next week!

I would read Bloodlines even closer to the release date of The Golden Lily, because you will want it right away when you finish! So my vote would go for For Darkness Shows the Stars, because there's no way a book can be bad with a cover that pretty;)

Only if I've read VA? Aww, then I won't read it, haha. I thought it was a separate series :(

VA is a separte series from Bloodlines but some of the same characters show up and I've heard there are some spoilers! I haven't read it either because I haven't finished the VA series yet. I'm voting for For Darkness Shows The Stars, can't wait to read this one =)

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer! I haven't read Monument 14 or For Darkness Shows the Stars (but both sounds really good!) And I'd recommend reading Vampire Academy first before Bloodlines. They're separate series, but there may be spoilers in Bloodlines and some overlap in stories that might be confusing if you haven't read VA yet.

Oh gosh, I love this. I just finished Shadow and Bone too and now I'm totally lost. I ended up selecting Code Name Verity to read next, but I'll probably be participating in asking for others' help next week because I'm terrible at deciding! I think that I spend almost as much time deciding as I do actually reading.

I'll vote for Mara Dyer, because I have it, haven't read it yet, and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

OMG, could you make it any more difficult. I've not read any of them, but everyone with the exception of Bloodlines are special shelf books or 5 star books according to a favorite blogger of mine. I'm a very logical person, I'd say read Mara Dyer because its an older book and you will be catching up. The new releases you still have plenty of time to get to. I here Mara is AWESOME! I started to read it the first few pages sucked me right in IMMEDIATELY.
