Set in 111 C.D., one hundred and eleven years after a Catastrophic Disaster has wiped out 99% of humanity and left the earth covered in ice, this new series introduces readers to a ragtag group of friends and the dawning of a new time. The world of reason, of mathematics and science, is ending, and a new civilization is being born from the ice: a world of magic and mayhem, sorcerers and spellcraft.

I like this cover a lot more. September seems so far away, but I still excited for it. Nice pick.

Oh, YES! *adds to Goodreads wishlist NOW* This one sounds fantastic...and cold. A good by-the-fire read.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited for this one too! The new cover is pretty cool, though it reminds me of the cover for The Ruining.

I hadn't heard of this one before! But it sounds awesome, definitely adding it to my to-read list.
ReplyDeleteJust added a new book to my wishlist. This looks so good and the cover is great.
ReplyDeleteOh emm gee indeed!!! This is the most excited I've been looking at someone's WoW in quite some time!!! The blurb sure makes the book sound absolutely amazing - sure hope it delivers!!! And what did the cover look like before? I do like this, though I must admit the thing I like best is the dragon eating its own tail thing that makes the "O" ;) well and the color and font are cool too... Thanks for featuring this; it's definitely going on my TBR list!
ReplyDeletei was drawn to this before with the old cover. One of the few who preferred it I think. But this premise sounds fantastic!
