Waiting on Wednesday (39) — Scorpio Races by Meggie Stiefvater

“Waiting On” Wednesday spotlights upcoming releases that everyone’s excited about (created by Jill at Breaking The Spine.)

The Scorpio Races

With her trademark lyricism, Maggie Stiefvater turns to a new world, where a pair are swept up in a daring, dangerous race across a cliff–with more than just their lives at stake should they lose.

The main reason why I’m excited for this one: the cover. IT IS GORGEOUS!! And no, I haven’t read Shiver.
Scorpio Racesย is expected to beย released on October 18th by Scholastic Press

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

I cannot FREAKING wait for this one! Maggie Stiefvater could write a picture book and I'd be beyond myself with anticipation. It is so annoying that BEA goers are already (or already have) reading it. I mean, I hope they enjoy it… but I want to read it too! Haha

Don't feel bad… you're not the only one who hasn't read Shiver. I haven't either. Although, I really want to. There's too many great books out and not enough time to fit them all in.
