In My Mailbox (51) — Time Travel and Cyborgs

Posted by on October 8, 2011
In My Mailbox is a meme created by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie! It features a list of what books you have received over the previous week, either for review, from the library, or from the bookstore.

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)   Tempest (Tempest #1)   The Catastrophic History of You & Me

For Review:
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Tempest by Julie Cross

Won from LibraryThing:
The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg

I’m pretty excited for Cinder and Tempest!!
Thanks to Macmillan, St. Martin’s, and LibraryThing!

I also
registered for ALA this week! I am sooo stoked to go.

Who else is planning on going??

So… what was in your mailbox this week?

  1. Awesome mailbox! It seems everyone is excited for Cinder and Tempest. I won Catastrophic History from LibraryThing too! I'm looking forward to receiving it- it sounds really good.
Enjoy all your new reads :)

  2. Nice books, Hafsah! I got Tempest and Catastrophic History this week as well. I requested both Tempest and Cinder from Macmillan on NetGalley. I got approved for Tempest but they haven't gotten to my Cinder request yet. Is that weird? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of these. :)

  3. *fans self* Is it HOT in your mailbox or what?! So excited to read all three of these books! They sound (and look) amazing. Especially Tempest, love me some time travel!

Can't wait to see what you think, enjoy :)

  4. Ooh, you got so many great books this week! The Catastrophic History of You and Me sounds especially amazing so I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. Happy reading! :)

  5. I'm so excited for all three of these! I'm totally jealous that you won Catastrophic History from LT! :P Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these books, Hafsah! Happy reading! :)

  6. Ooh, all those are on my TBR list! Catastrophic History looks good (did you check out the chapter titles? made me giggle).

And, darn, I can't go to ALA again! But have a fabulous time. Someday…

  7. I'm Stoked for all three of your books this week! Tempest sounds like a really sweet book. Can't wait to see what you think about all of them. Thanks for stopping by my IMM!!

  8. Aww, so many people have Tempest now and I'm really excited to read it! It sounds SO GOOD! Plus, The Catastrophic History of You and Me has been on my TBR list for a while, and I really hope you like it! :)

Awesome mailbox! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  9. I WISH I was going to ALA…. Have fun! I guess I'll have to have a twitter party by myself this time around (and to think we bonded over the absence of BEA). Haha, really, have fun! (And if you want to pick me up something, I wouldn't object). Enjoy your books :)
