How To Add Audio Clips (Audiobook, MP3, and more) to a Blog Post

I get this question pretty often:
How do you add MP3 clips to a blog post?

Well, it’s pretty easy, believe it or not. The first time I was approached by a publisher offering an audiobook clip to publish on my blog I thought it would be easy enough. But once I got to my post, I realized, there was no way to upload the clip from my computer.

In comes Archive.org. They make it super easy to upload content onto their servers and link it right onto your blog.

And It’s pretty simple to use. Create an account, hit Share, upload your content – video (although you would probably use YouTube for that), audio, and/or images, fill in the required fields, and copy the code!

See? Easy, isn’t it?

UPDATE
Soon after I tweeted about this post, CHIRBIT replied saying you can embed audio clips easily to your blog or any outlet, using their system! I haven’t made an account with them, but I’m sure you’ll want to check them out too :)

Soundcloud also offers this service. I've used them before a few times and had a good experience.

Thank you for this! I haven't been approached by a publisher for this, but I have wanted to post clips on my blog from author signings, but had no idea how. This will be great!
