Reading Road Trip Update! Sign-ups Still Open!

The Reading Road-Trip is a new twist on the classic giveaway hop that Britta came up with. The hop will be co-hosted on my blog and I Like These Books. HERE is the full introductory post, but I’ll give you a short version now: Blogs who sign up will be hosting a giveaway for a particular state or country (it spans ALL of North America). For instance, I will be hosting Texas, so my giveaway will either consist of books from authors who live(ed) in Texas or books that take place in Texas. Sound like fun? We think so!

We opened signups a few weeks ago and immediately got a lot of interest… then it died down. And I think, the main reason is that bloggers are trying to choose the state they live in. But that’s not the case. I get that many people wanted a specific state/country, but it is first come, first serve. But I hope you see that there are many interesting spots still left to host! Here are some ideas (by no means required if you chose these places). I haven’t read all of these, so if any of the information is incorrect, please let me know. Also, if you have any other books/authors that would fit here, please leave a comment!

My state is Oregon but I've thought of a bunch for it! It's just going to be hard to narrow it down since there are so many! Very excited for this!

I signed up for Colorado only (totally okay if it's already taken), since I have some signed books from CO authors:)

Way cool idea. So this would mean I HOST the giveaway? It comes from my pocket? Just clarifying before I officially sign up.
