Waiting on Wednesday (95) — STUNG by Bethany Wiggins

Posted by on July 18, 2012
“Waiting On” Wednesday spotlights upcoming releases that everyone’s excited about (created by Jill at Breaking The Spine.)

Stung

Government attempts to save endangered bees by genetic modification causes their sting to induce deadly, flu-like symptoms in humans. A vaccine created in response changes children into ferocious, killer beasts. The uninfected have built a wall to keep the beasts out, & a girl has awakened on the wrong side.

STUNG will be released April 2nd, 2013 from Bloomsbury.

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

  1. WHOA!! o.O This sounds awesome! I find bees endlessly fascinating, though I'm not a big fan of them. The various documentaries out there make me scared to think of a life without bees!

Great find, Hafsah :-) I am adding this to my Wish List.

    My WoW Pick!

  2. This one sounds super-creepy-awesome. Love how she incorporated the very real issues with our honey bees and made it shudder-inducing and horrifying. Plus, love the simplicity of this cover.

  3. Whoa. This sounds fantastic! It's completely new to me took thanks Hafsah! I'm adding this one to my list for sure, though I might die of anticipation before April of next year.

  4. Confession: I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of bugs — and I mean phobia terrified where I can't even look at a picture of insects without feeling sick LOL. But somehow I'm really intrigued by this one! A crazy infection among people? I'm definitely going to be picking this one up! :)

Awesome pick for your WOW, Hafsah! ;) <3
