Passion. Fate. Loyalty.

Would you risk it all to change your destiny?

The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world. But that’s exactly what happened. Face-to-face with dark forces, spellbinding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.

Tiger’s Curse is the exciting first volume in an epic fantasy-romance that will leave you breathless and yearning for more.

Kelsey Hayes never expected to spend her summer trying to break a 300-year-old curse in India. But that’s exactly what she’s doing with a white tiger named Dhiren, Ren for short. Fighting off water-monkeys, cockroaches, and breath-taking magic – Colleen Houck will have you captured in no time.

Master storyteller Colleen Houck has brought me into the thrilling depths of her series, The Tiger Saga. I didn’t really have any high expectations for Tiger’s Curse. When I picked it up the writing seemed so… dull. But the more I read, the more the writing grew on me. And before I knew it, it had captured me in it’s depth and pulled me under. I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the pages. The characters just grew on me, the plot dragged me away. My favorite character was charming Ren, the white tiger with cobalt blue eyes (who is pictured on the cover). Kishan, Ren’s brother, was a character for some reason I despised before Kelsey even had a conversation with him.

And the cover! Isn’t it just plain gorgeous? The white tiger looks really stunning and was one of the reasons I picked this book up. I can’t wait to start the sequel, Tiger’s Quest, because Tiger’s Curse was just amazingly good. If you’re like me, and have your doubts about this amazing series, throw them aside. You won’t be able to flip the pages fast enough!

Nice review! I absolutely LOVE Tiger's Curse! Unfortunately I haven't been liking the other books as much (I've read up through Tiger's Voyage). A super annoying love triangle emerges that kind of ruins it for me. The fantasy remains as awesome as ever though!

I've heard endless things about this series and although it sounds rather intriguing (The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world. – you have to admit, that is rather unique!), I was in no rush to read it. But now? I am excited! Amazing review!

I tried this book a while ago. While it wasn't my favorite read I did enjoy it. I found it to be a bit too long and I wasn't the biggest fan of Kelsey. But I'll continue the series.
