Violet Eden is Grigori – part angel, part human. Her destiny is to protect humans from the vengence of exiled angels.

Knowing who to trust is key but, when Grigori reinforcements arrive, it becomes clear everyone is hiding something. Even Lincoln. The only thing Violet does know: Phoenix’s hold over her is more dangerous than ever.

The race to find the one thing that could tilt the balance of power brings them all to the sacred mountains of Jordan, where Violet’s power will be pushed to the extreme. And the ultimate betrayal exposed.

Twisting and turning, that’s how Jessica Shrivington’s latest will be. In the thrilling sequel to EMBRACE, you’ll be breathless and on the edge of your seat. As life takes another unbelievable turn for Violet Eden, you’ll be there, flipping the pages faster than fast.

In ENTICE, the stakes are higher, the opposing forces are stronger, and Violet is losing control. Fast. With a whirlwind of a plot and an introduction of new characters who add the perfect amount of thoughtfulness, humor, and friendship, the second installment in Jessica Shirvington’s Violet Eden Chapters is perfect.

The opening pages of ENTICE had me doubtful. I was dragged straight into the plot with little reminiscing from EMBRACE and I have to admit I was more than a little confused, especially when later on, loads of new information was just dumped onto my shoulders. Rest assured, Shirvington has us covered, and by the time the last page is turned (albeit too soon), you’ll just have to sit back and think: WOAH.

I loved the new characters. Spence especially. He was able to loosen up the tensest of moments and added the right amount of laughs to ENTICE. Nyla and Rudyard were perfect too. Zoe was there when a friend was needed. And Salvatore was more important than he first seemed.

Jessica Shirvington’s writing is spot-on. She certainly knows how to entice (no pun intended) and draw in readers, gripping them in a vice until the last page is turned. And even then, Violet’s story will linger long after. Fans of EMBRACE, pick this one up. For those of you who haven’t begun the story of Violet Eden, what on Earth are you waiting for?
