A Post on Mythology

It’s time you all learned a horrible secret about me: I have not read the Percy Jackson series. Cue gasps.

*ahem* Anyway, I may not have read those, but I do love mythology based novels. Especially Greek Mythology. A couple of my favorites would be:

HALF-BLOOD by Jennifer L. Armentrout
This book is amazing, you guys just have to read it. You will not regret it.

Valkyrie Rising

VALKYRIE RISING by Ingrid Paulson
Valkyrie Rising proves that Norse mythology is pretty interesting too, if Thor and Loki haven’t convince you yet.

Ummm, and those are all my favorites. From the way I rave about mythology, I thought I had read more. But alas.

So what are your favorite Mythology based novels? Any recommendations?

I have only read the first Percy Jackson series. I’ve been thinking that I really need to make time for The Heroes of Olympus. I haven’t read the Covenant series by Armentrout, but I love her Lux series. I did read Valkyrie Rising, but I was very underwhelmed with it. I liked the whole Norse Mythology aspect, but I didn’t care much for the characters.

Anyway, I really like mythology stories too. In high school, I did a whole project on the Greek Mythological creatures in the first four Harry Potter books. It was awesome!

Oh my goodness, definitely the Percy series! And the companion series – The Heroes of Olympus, though I’m two books behind on that one.

PERCY JACKSON, the “Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel” series by Michael Scott (blend of Greek, Norse, Roman, Egyptian and everything else….seriously….EVERYTHING.), the “Abandon” trilogy by Meg Cabot, the “Pandora” series by Carolyn Hennesy, “The Goddess Test” by Aimee Carter is okay, and reading the actual Greek mythological stories is fun too, like the Iliad and Odyssey from Homer, and the Theogony by Hesiod :)

I’m sure you’ve heard this enough, but you HAVE to read the Percy Jackson series! Also the spin-off series, Heroes of Olympus. The Goddess Test series by Aimee Carter is really good. And while the Abandon series by Meg Cabot wasn’t my fav, it was pretty good mythology-wise too.

By no means ever obtain a piece of apparel just thanks to the price tag currently being too good to refuse. If you don’t appear very good in it, you’ll by no means put on it once again. It will merely be a decline of place and funds.

There are hundreds of 1000’s of hair accent opportunities. There are hairbands, headbands, elastic holder, bows, extenstions and far more. You can use nice black jeans with a dress shirt for a wonderful “dressed-up” look. If you are donning the most current development, colored denims, it really is very best to go for a a lot more informal seem.
